Based on the attached sheet “Ultracon Capacity.pdf”, calculate the anchorage capacity for shear for a ¼” diameter ultracon with 1-1/2” embedment, 1-3/4” edge distance, 2-3/4” spacing, and into 3ksi concrete. Note that if a given edge distance or spacing is between two table values, then the use of linear interpolation is required to interpolate between the two values. If a provided value of embedment, spacing, or edge distance is less than all table values, then a capacity reduction is taken equal to the ratio of the provided value (for embedment, spacing, etc.) to the minimum provided table value for that parameter. (i.e. capacity reduction = provided value / minimum table value)

2. For the attached “Shape.pdf”, calculate Ix, Sx, and Iy.

3. Write a simple letter, which would be ready to be signed and sealed, explaining the results of your analysis from item #1 above.
